The Mentor

What Is a Mentor?

A mentor is a person who guides a less experienced person through a course of action, to achieve positive behaviors and reach life goals.

I am a trauma informed life coach mentoring survivors of childhood trauma and ACE’s. I use the tools and skills I learned on my own healing journey to help other survivors follow a path of discovery and healing.

In our online coaching sessions, I will teach you the tools I have researched and developed to create radical life change. The focus is on exploring your internal world, discovering “parts” that need your love and attention, as well as developing practical skills, a strong sense of Self and a roadmap for resolving the impact of childhood trauma.

Your True Self has all the answers that you need to heal. With these tools, I will help you discover this inner advocate that holds the key to your healing and highest purpose.

Available online through FaceTime, Skype, or Zoom.

Methods I Practice & Teach:

• The Survivor’s Compass

• Internal Family Systems (IFS)

• Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

• Mindfulness Meditation & Self-Hypnosis

• Compassionate Inquiry

• Sacred Plant Essence Therapy

What will I learn?

You will learn tools to help you develop mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Tapping (aka Emotional Freedom Technique), and other healing methods to help you with a course of self-directed healing.

The journey begins with recognizing the voice of your true Self, your “inner advocate.” I will teach you how to connect with this true Self.

You will learn how the psyche operates based on Internal Family Systems (IFS), a psychotherapy developed by Richard Schwartz, PhD. The method is based on an internal system of “parts”, much like a family. You will learn how to work with these parts to achieve inner peace and harmony and free yourself from self-limiting actions and beliefs.

You will learn the tool of Tapping (aka Emotional Freedom Technique), a somatic self-therapy that facilitates the clearing of negative emotions and thoughts from the body and accelerates the healing process, dramatically shortening the time needed to bring about change.

You will learn various forms of mindfulness and meditation to help you develop your “objective observer” and step back from the “triggering” that often plagues trauma survivors, causing depression, anxiety, and dissociative episodes.

You will also learn about The Survivor’s Compass, the method I developed and used to heal my own life of depression, anxiety, and trauma related illness.

“I’ve worked with many coaches, healers and professionals over the last ten years and Anne is by far the most skilled and effective life coach I’ve worked with. Her combination of deep listening, well refined tools and resources, along with her sharp intuitive approach to really the issue clearly and address it is unmatched. I’ve experienced deeply powerful and sustainable growth in just four months of working with her, and have already recommended her to many other clients who are looking for somebody who is trauma-informed and has the right tools to support what can often be a delicate and tender process for many in this space. I couldn’t recommend her work enough.” — Ima

“Anne has the special ability to help me get through the rough spots in my life. She has given me the tools to understand myself in a way that heals from the inside out! Intuition and wisdom are truly her gifts. It gives her counseling real insight into my needs. The body, the mind and spirit can work together! Thank you for helping me to truly know it” — Deborah

“I was just about as bad off as you can get emotionally, physically, and mentally. I was recommended by a chiropractor to visit with Anne. She completely changed my life. I look and feel better than I have felt for years thanks to Anne. ”  — Gwen

“Anne Marck, and her therapy and meditation techniques, is an invaluable resource for patients who are seeking health and well-being.

As a primary care physician, and functional medicine practitioner, I am acutely aware of the effect of the mind-body connection on achieving true health. I have worked with countless patients on their physical problems where true healing was not achieved until the underlying emotional and spiritual issues were addressed.

Meditation and mindfulness are essential practices for achieving health, well-being and true joy in our lives. I fully endorse Anne’s techniques in achieving this balance of peace, wellness and joy. Her website, www.annemarck.com, has a wealth of information for anyone who wants to heal their body and the mind-body connection.” — Jeanette Walker, MD, functional medicine physician
